All eyes are also on Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell's forthcoming address at the Jackson Hole Symposium this Friday, as the market seeks cues for the interest rate decision in the Fed's September meeting. The decline was predominantly led by the technology sector, with further downward pressure from the healthcare and real estate sectors.
