This broader market index mirrored a rally seen in Wall Street overnight, driven by notable gains in major tech companies. Continued foreign capital inflows and anticipated upcoming rate cuts by the US Federal Reserve further bolstered market sentiment. Nevertheless, the upward momentum was limited by the latest government budget figures for the January to August period, which revealed revenues reaching only 57.2% of the annual goal—a decline of 7.8% compared to the same timeframe the previous year. Additionally, government expenditures only amounted to 55.6% of the target. Traders are also focused on the impending 2026 government budget decision meeting in parliament, scheduled for later today. The technology sector led the market's advancements, closely followed by manufacturing and financial stocks. Leading contributors to the gains included Adaro Energy (+5.1%), Bank Central Asia (+1.9%), Bank Danamon (+1.3%), and Jasa Marga (+1.2%).
