In October 2025, Armenia's annual consumer inflation rate remained steady at 3.7%, still above the central bank's 3% target. Notable increases were observed in transportation prices, which accelerated to 4.9% from 4.1% in September, as well as in recreation and culture, which rose to 2.4% from 2.1%. The cost of dining and accommodation increased by 2.1%, slightly higher than the previous 2%, and communication costs went up to 0.7% from 0.4%. Conversely, inflation decelerated for food and non-alcoholic beverages, easing to 5.6% from 5.8%, and furnishings, household equipment, and routine maintenance slowed to 0.9% from 2.0%. The inflation rates for alcoholic beverages and tobacco, health services, and education remained stable at 6.8%, 3.5%, and 8.3%, respectively. Deflation continued in the clothing and footwear sector, though slightly improved at -0.9% compared to -1.2%. On a month-to-month basis, consumer prices increased by 0.3%, maintaining the same growth rate as the previous month.
