In October 2025, Serbia experienced a 1.5% increase in producer price inflation compared to the same period the previous year, showing a slight reduction from the 1.8% peak reached in September, which was the highest in eight months. This represents the fifth consecutive month of growth in producer prices since February. The manufacturing sector saw a more moderate increase in prices, rising by 0.6% compared to 1.7% in September. Meanwhile, the costs in the mining and quarrying industry continued to decline, falling by 5.4% compared to a 3.4% drop previously. Conversely, there was a quicker rise in prices for electricity, gas, steam, and air conditioning supply, which increased by 3.9% up from 1.2%, as well as for the water supply, sewerage, waste management, and remediation activities, which saw prices surge by 20.2% compared to 19.9%. On a month-to-month basis, producer prices increased by 0.5% in October, following a 0.2% rise in September.
